Hon. John N. Hostettler

John Hostettler served six terms in the United States House of Representatives, representing the Eighth District of Indiana in southwest and west central Indiana from 1995 to 2007. Prior to his service in Congress, John was enlightened and inspired by the teaching of Dr. D. James Kennedy – especially Dr. Kennedy’s radio ministry, Truths That Transform. Moreover, it was at the first Reclaiming America for Christ Conference at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church that soon-to-be-candidate-for-Congress John Hostettler heard Dr. Kennedy’s admonition, “Some of you should run for Congress!” Less than 10 months later, John Hostettler became Congressman-Elect John Hostettler. Congressman Hostettler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. John has been married to his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth (Hamman), for 32 years and they have four children and three grandchildren. Congressman Hostettler is author of Ordained and Established: A Statesman-Citizen’s Guide to the United States Constitution.”
